This year we are extending our tree care responsibility with a tree planting pledge. We have always encouraged customers to plant replacement trees when a job means a tree is removed, if they can’t we will now support a tree planting charity and have trees planted for them .

dont look too close, I made it myself! slightly unbalanced,bit knarly and blocky in places but it looks like a tree!

After removing a self seeded Holly that had grown out of control and too close to a house, it all went through the mini chipper and I didn’t even think about saving some of the red berried branches for the season celebrations! Ahh well the local allotments have some wood chip, merry….too early?

It’s that time of the year and already two scheduled jobs have been postponed because of nesting pigeons. We will always respect nature even though it’s sometimes inconvenient. It’s illegal to disturb, move or destroy nests eggs and birds even pigeons, so we don’t ,they are part of the ecosystem as predator and prey so the job moves back a few weeks and nature continues.
